Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the economic data sets that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or district/city). This data set can also be used for other purposes and purposes, such as as a basis for developing economic models in order to formulate policies, accelerating the velocity of money (velocity of money), financial deepening (financial deepening), tax determination, export-import studies. etc.
This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to final expenditure/demand, which is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditure for Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventory), Export Import. GRDP data in this publication and subsequent publications use the 2010 base year, and have implemented the 2008 System of National Accounts concept as recommended by the United Nations.
