Development of Jawa Timur Farmer Exchange Rate in May 2019

Abstraction

Jawa Timur's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in May 2019 rose 1.06 percent from 106.52 to 107.66. The increase in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) increased higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). In May 2019, all agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP. The sub-sector experiencing the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Food Crop sub-sector by 1.50 percent, followed by the Community Plantation Crop sub-sector by 0.91 percent, Livestock sub-sector by 0.83 percent, Horticulture sub-sector by 0.77 percent, and the fisheries sub-sector by 0.74 percent.
