        Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 rice production in Jawa Timur Province at 13.15 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG). Compared with paddy production in 2014 (ATAP), an increase in production by 757.92 thousand tons (6.11 percent). The increase in rice production is due to the increase Harvested by 79.44 thousand hectares (3.83 percent) and the level of productivity by 1.32 quintal per hectare (2.21 percent).

B. CORN

þ Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 Jawa Timur Province Corn production of 6.13 million tons of dry seed. Compared to corn production in 2014 (ATAP), an increase in production by 393.78 thousand tons (6.86 percent). The increase in maize production due to increased Harvested by 11.35 thousand hectares (0.94 percent) and the level of productivity by 2.80 quintal per hectare (5.87 percent).

C. SOYBEAN

       Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 Soybean production in Jawa Timur Province of 345.00 thousand tons of dry beans. Soybean production compared to 2014 (ATAP), a decline in production of 10.47 thousand tons (-2.94 percent). The decline in soybean production due to lower harvested area of6.81 thousand hectares (-3.17 percent), although the level of productivity rose by 0.04 quintal per hectare (0.24 percent).

D. PEANUT

þ Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 production Peanut Jawa Timur Province amounted to 191.58 thousand tons of dry beans. Soybean production compared to 2014 (ATAP), an increase in production by 3.09 thousand tons (1.64 percent). The increase in peanut production is due to the increase in productivity by 0.26 quintal / hectare (1.93 percent), while harvested area decreased by 0.35 thousand hectares (0.25 percent).

E. GREEN BEAN

       Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 production of Green Bean Jawa Timur province amounted to 67.82 thousand tons Ose Dry. Compared with 2014 production of green beans (ATAP), an increase in production by 7.51 thousand tons (12.45 percent). The increase in the production of green beans is due to increased harvested area of 5.93 thousand hectares (11.80 percent) and productivity by 0.07 quintal per hectare (0.58 percent).

F. CASSAVA

þ Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 Cassava production in Jawa Timur Province amounted to 3.16 million tons Bulbs Wet. Cassava production compared to 2014 (ATAP), a decline in production amounted to 473.88 thousand tons (-13.03 percent). The decline in cassava production is due to lower harvested area of10.32 thousand hectares (-6.57 percent) and productivity levels of 16.00 quintal / hectare (-6.91 percent).

G. SWEET POTATOES

      Preliminary figures (ASEM) in 2015 production of Sweet Potato Jawa Timur Province amounted to 350.52 thousand tons Bulbs Wet. Compared with Sweet Potato production in 2014 (ATAP), an increase in production of 38.10 thousand tons (12.19 percent). The increase in sweet potato production is due to increased productivity of 42.52 quintals per hectare (18.35 percent), while harvested area decreased by 0.70 thousand hectares (-5.20 percent).
