Discussions regarding the Unified National Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN) took center stage at a hearing held at the Jombang Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) office on Tuesday (September 15, 2026). The forum brought together various stakeholders to collectively address the dynamics of the DTSEN—including data updates and decile classification—as well as efforts to maintain data quality so that it accurately reflects the community's actual conditions.
The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of Commission D of the Jombang Regency DPRD, Rahmat Agung Saputra, and attended by the Head of the Jombang Regency Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Mouna Sri Wahyuni, along with representatives from regional government agencies, the Social Affairs Agency, media outlets, NGOs, village heads, and other relevant institutions.
During the meeting, Mouna, the Head of Jombang Regency BPS, presented an overview of the DTSEN, specifically highlighting the dynamic nature of socio-economic data. Since the community's socio-economic conditions can shift over time, the data requires continuous updating to provide a more current and accurate picture of the situation.
Mouna explained that DTSEN updates can be conducted periodically—including on a quarterly basis—in accordance with established mechanisms. This demonstrates that the data and decile classifications are not static; as community conditions change, the data can be updated to ensure the available information keeps pace with developments on the ground.
