The Jombang Regency Statistics Indonesia (BPS) office received a visit from the Deputy Head of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, accompanied by the Acting Head of BPS East Java Province, Herum Fajarwati, on Thursday (August 27).
The visit began with a welcome from the Head of BPS Jombang Regency, Mouna Sri Wahyuni, and her staff. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and communication among BPS RI, BPS East Java Province, and BPS Jombang Regency.
During the visit, the Deputy Head of BPS RI provided a briefing to the BPS Jombang Regency team regarding the 2026 Economic Census, which has now entered its final implementation stage. The briefing aimed to reinforce efforts so that the entire series of activities could be successfully completed while maintaining high-quality field execution.
The 2026 Economic Census is a key agenda for BPS in providing data on Indonesia's economic conditions and activities. As the census stages progress, coordination and monitoring are crucial to ensure the process adheres to established guidelines and yields high-quality data.
The BPS Jombang Regency team participated in the briefing and engaged in discussions with leadership from BPS RI and BPS East Java Province. The event provided a platform to report on the implementation status in Jombang Regency and to strengthen coordination for completing the 2026 Economic Census activities.
