Statistics of Jombang - Population of Jombang Regency 1,3 million

Jombang - SP2020 is the first Population Census to use population registration data as a database. This is in order to create One Indonesian Population Data. On January 21, 2021 at the Jombang Community Center (JCC), the Head of the Central Statistics Agency of Jombang Regency together with the Regent of Jombang, the Regional Secretary of Jombang, Assistant 1, Head of Dispendukcapil and Diskominfo held a Nobar (Watch Together) released with 2020 Population Census Data and Administrative Data 2020 Population by Central BPS through Zoom Meeting.

"The SP2020 results data and population registration data by the Director General of Dukcapil are expected to complement each other so that they can be used in various fields," said Kecuk. SP2020 admitted Kecuk was running full of challenges amidst the pandemic conditions. This kind of release is being carried out for the first time as a form of coordination and collaboration between government agencies in realizing one data that begins with one population data.
The Head of BPS Jombang and the Regent of Jombang then jointly released the SP2020 results for Jombang Regency and announced that in September 2020 the total population of Indonesia was 1.3 million. There is a slight difference with the number of adminduk from Dispendukcapil. The difference in population between the SP2020 results and the Adminduk data is an illustration of the number of people who have moved, whether for work, school, or other reasons.

Hopefully with the release of the 2020 Population Census figures, the ranks of the Jombang Regency Government can use them as a basis for policy making in order to improve people's welfare towards advanced Indonesia.
